Overview

Immich is a self-hosted Google Photos alternative with AI-powered face recognition, location mapping, and mobile apps. Deploy it from the Kazepute marketplace for private photo management.

Requirements

  • Kaze 4+ plan (4 vCPUs, 8GB RAM minimum for ML features)
  • Sufficient disk space for your photo library

Deployment

Select Immich from the marketplace. The deployment creates PostgreSQL, Redis, machine learning, and web server containers automatically.

Initial Setup

# Access Immich\nhttps://YOUR_IP:2283\n\n# Create your admin account on first visit\n# Configure storage locations in Admin → Settings

Mobile App Setup

  1. Download Immich from App Store or Google Play
  2. Enter your server URL: https://YOUR_IP:2283
  3. Login with your admin credentials
  4. Enable auto-backup in the app settings

Hardware Transcoding

For faster video processing, Immich supports hardware transcoding. On Kazepute Breezes, software transcoding is used by default which works well for most libraries.
